Community Engagement

As a purely grassroots campaign, I have appreciated every opportunity to meet you, my community, where you are. I have appreciated your support, questions, and knowledge through my entire journey and commit to remaining approachable and accessible as a voice for you.

Door-to-Door Campaigning

Many of you may have met or seen us during our daily door-to-door knocking and canvassing. I'm incredibly grateful for all the amazing conversations and support I have received across the 14,800+ houses covered so far from door to door. Beyond door-to-door, I have also had weekly syncs with you all to address any questions and concerns as they come and I am grateful for your participation and engagement throughout.

Back-to-School Nights

I am proud to have been the only CUSD board candidate at Kennedy, Miller, Lynbrook and Cupertino High back-to-school nights. It was a pleasure to meet many of you early in the campaign process to listen to your experiences, feedback, and hopes for our district. I would have loved to attend even more schools' back-to-school nights if it were not for conflicting calendars.

Farmer's Market

I am proud to have been the only CUSD board candidate at our local De Anza Farmer's market, where I got the opportunity to have in depth discussions with you all about your vision for and opinions on the district as well as hear your support for our priorities and grassroots work!

Community Events

I am inclined towards this position because of community, and thus always make it a priority to attend community events. I am grateful to met you all through such experiences, including:

  • Fall Festival (where I was proud to be the only CUSD board candidate present)

  • Children's Festival

  • Hyde Multicultural Festival

  • Indian Independence Day Inclusion Celebration

  • Stocklmeir Movie Night

Public Candidate Forums

As part of my experience running for the very first time, I have learned how invaluable it is to attend public candidate forums to directly connect with you, the public, and engage in productive conversation about the points of focus for our district. Below are some of these:

  1. Rotary & Chamber of Commerce School Board Candidate Forum (September 18, 2024 at Quinlan Center, Cupertino)

  2. League of Women Voters of Cupertino and Sunnyvale (LWVCS) (October 15, 2024)

  3. Voice of American Youth (Oct 13, 2024 at Chinese Performing Arts of America Community Center, San Jose)

  4. Cupertino Fremont Sunnyvale Council of PTAs (CFSCPTA) School Board Candidate Forum (October 16, 2024 at Quinlan Community Center, Cupertino)
